Colour Coding

Colour coding prevents Cross Contamination
There is no doubt that responsible cleaning practices help avoid cross contamination, thereby minimising the incidence of illness and disease. Effective cleaning reduces bacteria on equipment and surfaces that people come into contact with every day, such as keyboards, phones and toilets touch-points. While it might sound like a straightforward solution, health-conscious cleaning actually requires detailed processes, thorough training, and strict quality control.
Probably the most common culprits of cross-contamination are cloths/rags, and mops and buckets etc.
Here at Premier we operate a stringent colour coding procedure on cleaning segmented areas and forms part of our induction and site training.
The aim of Premier Group Services is to provide a colour coding system to prevent cross contamination during the cleaning process. It is vital that a system forms part of an employee-training programme. The colour coding of cleaning products is a simple but important step that will make a large contribution to hygiene standards and the elimination of cross infection
Premier Group Services will comply with all Health and Safety in respect of usage of all materials and equipment
