Quality Management
Quality Management
At PGS we take care that all Staff tasks are completed, the Site Supervisor/Contract Manager will carry out a detailed inspection of all areas, with all PGS Staff having a thorough inspection of their standards of work at regular intervals. Clearly, an element of flexibility must be allowed during these inspections, for the following reasons.
- PGS Staff are aware that an inspection of their work may be carried out at any time, to ensure that standards are consistently maintained at all times, and not just before an inspection.
- We must allow adequate time for the induction of new staff, to enable them to achieve the desired standards in their role.
- Time needs to be allowed for us to monitor any remedial action, which has been undertaken subsequent to the identification of a problem during a previous inspection.
- Periodic inspections are also carried out in conjunction with the Contract Manager and are undertaken regularly at a frequency agreed with you. During these periodic inspections standards of workmanship achieved, together with any remedial action plan where required, are recorded.
A link is maintained at senior level through regular liaison meetings with the Contract Manager and your nominated representative. This means that any additional or varying customer inspection forms shall be available for discussion and Quality Control Sheets will be available to enable you to formally record your level of satisfaction with the service you are receiving from us. The Quality Control Sheets are monitored by the Branch Manager to ensure that service levels are consistently maintained on your premises.
Performance measurement of Operatives
A monthly report is made on each location by the Contract Manager who indicates the standards being achieved by the operatives and also takes into account the comments of the client.
